Daeva: Kiss of the Succubus (Mature)
Daeva, from Vampire: the Requiem, is the clan of vampires who embody all the sexual attributes vampires are given in fiction. For them, sexual lust and bloodlust are the same. Beautiful and decadent, they use these qualities to lure in victims, supplying them with the most amazing sensual experience ever in return for blood.
I ended up recycling a pose from the drawing I'd done of Brooke and Erin last summer, but cleaned it up for this. I still haven't gotten to do my idea of bodies under the bed, but maybe that is something I'll have to add to a future picture sans this specific pose.
I really need to mix things up with a hetero vamp & victim one of these days.

Linda Fireflies Book Cover
So I finished the book cover for Fireflies, a vampire romance novel by Lacey Rhea. To read excerpts from the book and get more information, check out the Myspace page. It's for adults and has Mature Content. The image is of when the main character is turned in Central Park while other nymphomites lurk in the background to take their turn drinking. I'll post again when the book is published.

Life Out/Loud Gallery Opening
Today was the opening for the Life Out/Loud show put on by the Kendall Pride group. This is the first piece I've had up in a show at school.
I use robots to represent the heterosexual "norm" in society. They are the traditional boy/girl colors of baby blue and pink, respectively. Society dictates that women are supposed to love, marry, and bear children for men. This idea is retro, much like the robots.
The two human girls are shown to be alive, happy, and deliriously in love. As too many homosexual couples in history have had to do, these women pretend to be straight, to be "normal" according to society, disguising the fact that they are in a same-sex relationship. They dress up and appear to go with society's plan, but only for appearances. The girl on the right giggles behind her hand, entertained at their secret. They are holding hands, a small Public Display of Affection that often draws scorn when a straight couple could get away with something less decent. These two women are not in line with the others, they are not marching but strolling happily to their own drum, that is, the beating of their young hearts.
I will be putting this piece into the 2010 ArtPrize.

Intimate Kiss (Nudity)

Wanted to do a picture of Cassie and Erin being intimate but not sexual.
Cassie usually is covered up pretty well, and Erin has always dressed conservatively, so when Cassie loses a layer or two, Erin really enjoys the feel of the soft skin.
She's kissing her stomach if you really can't tell.
My favorite of her henna tattoos are the ones on her rib cage; I think I'll use those designs more in the future when there is exposed skin.
I didn't want Erin to be completely nude, so I gave her a negligee. The butterfly on her back is just a henna tattoo, since I figured it'd be cute for Cassie to do. Now that I think of it though, it should theoretically be on her front so she can actually see it.
Oh, and the claw necklace is a new addition allowing her to understand animals.

Predatory Shaded (Mature)
Shaded version of Erin and Cassie in bed.
Thinned Erin out a bit as per Keith's suggestions. Also made her lips fuller and her nose more defined since he's not crazy about manga-style. I forgot Cassie's necklace but it's not terribly crucial; the henna bracelet is still there.
Since I didn't give any info yesterday with the sketch, I'll add some now.
Both are characters from Keith's Demon game. In-game, there was one part where Erin started being very possessive and aggressive to Cassie, in the bedroom and out. This isn't as explicit as it was suggested she was behind closed doors, but is more than I originally intended to show.
I was listening to "Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry because Keith was sharing some of the music Erin listens to, and I was just going to do a picture of Erin with scratch marks, either from the asylum attack, or fresh ones from a now-sleeping Cassie. When I started working with poses though, it ended up in the middle rather than afterward.
I also did this because Keith said Erin looked predatory in the swimsuit picture; I decided to up it.
I really liked the pose and might reuse it for something completely different in the future.

Erin & Cassie

My role-playing character and her girlfriend. I think the Catwoman/Batman picture started me on a couples theme, so I'll probably be doing at least two or more in the near future.

Harley & Ivy

I think I want to do something more creative with Poison Ivy, since the nude-with-vines-on-her doesn't really offer much of a challenge design-wise.
As for Harley Quinn, since she was a gymnast, I gave her a modified cheerleader outfit. I was considering putting a Joker plushie dangling from her hand or else have her holding her cork-gun.
Reference by =SenshiStock [link] She has really great group shots.
